Unity has established centers of study and worship throughout the world where people discover and practice the Unity way of life..
How did Unity begin?
The Unity movement was founded by Charles and Myrtle Fillmore, who continued to attend their local church while conducting study and prayer groups in their home. After Myrtle Fillmore's remarkable healing utilizing prayer and affirmations, many who were seeking help became interested in how she accomplished this healing. From small prayer circles in living rooms, Unity grew. The first issue of Unity magazine was published in 1889.
Our History
The growth of the Unity Church of Brazosport, Texas, from its beginning in the summer of 1984 to the present has seemed to those involved to illustrate most dramatically the results that occur when we step out in faith and rely on divine order.
